Kirloskar Monoblock type of pumps are single suction horizontal spindle, well designed volute type casing, foot mounted monoblock pumps with suitable support to motor (Except 3HP motor).
- These Monoblock pumps are centrifugal pumps with enclosed single entry impeller and are fitted with standard accessories. Monoblock is a range of monoblock pumps offered by Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. Kirloskar Monoblock pumps are used for lift irrigation schemes and agricultural purposes, water works for mechanically-filtered water from settling tanks, storm water, raw river water for circulation of water in air conditioning plants, textile mills, industrial plant etc.

- Requires less floor space.
- As impeller is mounted on extended shaft of motor, alignment problem is completely eliminated.
- In Monoblock separate coupling is not required and it is simple to install and maintain.

- Monoblock pump has Back pull out design - i.e. when pump is required to be dismantled for maintenance or repairs suction and delivery piping are undisturbed, maintenance is therefore considerably simplified both in terms of time and in different trade skills required.
